Defects are inevitably present in two-dimensional (2D) materials and usually govern their various properties. Here a comprehensive density functional theory-based investigation of 7 kinds of point defects in a recently produced {\gamma} allotrope of

The influence of diffusion on the current shape in the time-of-flight (TOF) experiment under conditions of the quasiequilibrium transport has been considered. An analytical expression for the transient current density has been obtained for the case o

While it is commonly accepted that the activation energy of the thermally activated polaron hopping transport in disordered organic semiconductors can be decoupled into a disorder and a polaron contribution, their relative weight is still controversi

The existence of two novel hybrid two-dimensional (2D) monolayers, 2D B3C2P3 and 2D B2C4P2, has been predicted based on the density functional theory calculations. It has been shown that these materials possess structural and thermodynamic stability.

The effect of geminate recombination on the photocurrent kinetics is modeled by Monte-Carlo numerical simulation in organic bulk heterojunction. Non-correlated Gaussian distribution of hopping centers is considered. Non-stationary polarization of gem
