This work shows that hybrid peptides formed by alternating trans-2-aminocyclopentanecarboxylic acid (trans-ACPC) and trans-2-aminocyclohexanecarboxylic acid (trans-ACHC) do not fold in the solvents typically used in the study of their homo-oligomers.
