Wellbore integrity is an important consideration for the viability of subsurface CO2 sequestration. Wellbores may leak due to micro annuli that develop between annular cement and steel casing and/or the host formation, as well as fractures and flaws

Wellbore integrity is a critical subject in oil and gas production and CO2 storage. Successful subsurface deposition of various fluids, such as CO2, depends on the integrity of the storage site. In a storage site, injection wells and pre-existing wel

A key issue in the field of underground waste storage is the investigation of the barrier function of the host rock and the sealing of the disposal tunnel. For the demonstration of gas escape, a large scale "gas path through host rock and along seali

The Lanzo lherzolites (west of Torino, Italy) exhibit a history of decompression at relatively high temperature (1150-950°C) from the spinel-lherzolite field to the plagioclase-lherzolite field. These ultramafics have clinopyroxenes with Na contents
