We demonstrate an Yb-doped multicore Q-switched fiber laser with an all-solid large-core fiber. At 10 KHz repetition-rate, the output power was 16W with a 49% slope efficiency, 200ns pulse duration and M2~2.

We experimentally demonstrate a fiber amplifier at 1070 nm with an 8-m long all-solid large-mode-area multicore fiber. The input signal power of 140 mW was amplified to ~43.5 W corresponding to 25 dB gain.

We demonstrate a multicore Yb-doped fiber laser with an all-solid large-core fiber fabricated in-house and an external Talbot resonator for mode selection. 115W output power with an overall 61% slope efficiency was achieved.

We demonstrate a multicore Yb-doped fiber laser with an all-solid large-core fiber fabricated in-house and a pinhole in the laser cavity for mode selection. 33.9 W output power with a nearly 52% slope efficiency was achieved.
