Abstract Climate change is exerting unprecedented impacts on marine habitats, and many sessile invertebrate species, such as the endangered giant clam Tridacna maxima, are particularly sensitive to climate driven changes in their environment. Underst

We present a genome assembly from an individual Tridacna derasa (the smooth giant clam; Mollusca; Bivalvia;Cardiida; Cardiidae). The genome sequence is 1,060.2 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 18 chromosomal pseudomolecules.

As an important mollusk in reef ecosystems, Tridacna squamosa forms pro-survival symbiotic relationships that hinge on an exquisite redox equilibrium between the host and the photosynthetic symbiont, zooxanthellae. The exact regulatory mechanisms the

Sex is an integral part of the evolution of species and often takes the form of intersex and sexual change in mollusks. As a major member of the deep-sea coral reef ecosystem, Tridacna crocea has complex gonadal development mechanisms and reproductiv
