Using the recently developed organic semiconductor, 2,9-didecyldinaphtho[2,3-b:2′,3′-f]thieno[3,2-b]thiophene (C10-DNTT), we have fabricated organic thin-film transistors and ring oscillators on flexible polymeric substrates. By utilizing a gate

We report on the development of hybrid P-OLEDs for display applications. Hybrid P-OLEDs combine polymeric hole side and emitter layers with small molecule layers as organic electron side. Experimental data for blue hybrid P-OLEDs is presented and com

Currently, three issues are identified that decide upon the commercial success of organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs), both in display and lighting applications: power efficiency, lifetime, and price competitiveness. PIN OLEDs are widely seen as th

In this paper, we describe the use of a new air-stable generation of n-doped electron-transport layers for OLEDs. The proper combination of hosts and dopants allows for lower voltage combined with increased efficiency and long lifetime. We report OLE

Phonon modes which are strongly coupled to the lowest optical transition of the quasi-one-dimensional organic crystal of MePTCDI ( N - N ′-dimethylperylene-3,4,9,10-dicarboximide) are directly time-resolved as they appear as coherent wavepackets in

Coherent phonon oscillations in quasi-1D organic crystals of MePTCDI (N-N′-dimethylperylene-3,4,9,10-dicarboximide) are directly time-resolved by femtosecond pump–probe experiments. We observe both oscillations caused by intra-molecular vibration
