Palladium(II)-catalyzed ethoxycarbonylation of aryl bromides with diethyloxalate oxalate is described. Functionalized aromatic esters can be efficiently synthesized with only 0.65 mol % PdCl2(PPh3)2 catalyst under microwave irradiation and without ad
