This work investigates how the internal meso structure of fused filament fabrication parts influence the magnetoactive properties of printed magnetic elastomer structures. Elastomers were made by adding 40 wt% magnetite (Fe3O4) to a thermoplastic pol

In this work, we investigate the problem of determining a heat source at the bottom of a plate from thermal measurements obtained at the top. This problem arises in a novel nondestructive evaluation technique for assessing the quality of a spot-weld.

The molecular beam electric resonance technique has been used to examine the hyperfine spectrum of 7LiI to determine the nuclear hexadecapole interaction of the iodine nucleus. The nuclear magnetic octupole interaction was also considered but found t

Digital Holography is a technique which provides a measurement of the complex field reflecting from a coherently illuminated object. When the measurement is performed with two carefully chosen wavelengths a phase difference map can be created providi

With two-wavelength digital holography, 3D images of diffuse objects are generated by computing the phase difference between coherent images recorded at two wavelengths. Results are presented that show robust, fine resolution 3D imaging.
