This work combines experimental data from baryon spectroscopy with the latest statistical analysis-methods. The results are model-independent estimates of electromagnetic multipole parameters from which model-independent predictions of yet unmeasured

We propose to measure the weak decay constant $\alpha_-$ for the decay $\Lambda\rightarrow p\pi^-$ using a both circularly and linearly polarized photon beam with the GlueX spectrometer in Hall D. The measurement will take advantage of the fact that

A truncated partial-wave analysis is performed for $\eta$-photoproduction using the polarization observables $\sigma_0, \Sigma, T, E, F$ and $G$. Different truncation orders are analyzed for six energy bins within the range of $E^{lab}_{\gamma} \in [

This review treats the advances in Light Baryon Spectroscopy of the last two decades, which were mainly obtained by measuring meson-production reactions at photon facilities all over the world. We provide a consistent compendium of experimental resul

The excitation spectrum of the proton consists of resonances with substancial width which are often strongly overlapping and are therefore difficult to disentangle. To determine the exact contributions and identify these resonances, a partial wave an

For photoproduction reactions with final states consisting of two pseudoscalar mesons and a spin-1/2 baryon, 8 complex amplitudes need to be determined uniquely. A modified version of Moravcsik's theorem is employed for these reactions, resulting in

We propose to create a secondary beam of neutral kaons in Hall D at Jefferson Lab to be used with the GlueX experimental setup for strange hadron spectroscopy. The superior CEBAF electron beam will enable a flux on the order of $1\times 10^4~K_L/sec$

We highlight topical issues in hyperon spectroscopy that will be accessible when a secondary beam of neutral kaons is created in Hall D at Jefferson Lab as proposed to the JLab Program Advisory Committee. The new beam will have a flux of $10^4$ $K_L$
