A thermophilic fungus, named HBFH10, was isolated from Luzhou-flavor Daqu and identified as Rhizopus microsporus. A new β-mannanase gene (RmMan134) from Rhizopus microsporus HBHF10, was cloned using degenerate primers, expressed, and characterized.
