The aim of this study is to determine a robust prediction algorithm that can be used to correct the measured specific absorption rate (SAR) in a homogeneous phantom when its complex permittivity deviates from standardized reference values. Results ar

Minimally perturbing, resistive, nonferrous probes were developed for noninvasively measuring hazardous currents induced in the human body by electromagnetic fields at 1-200 MHz. Each probe has a resistive toroidal coil that is placed around the leg

In this paper, a numerical and experimental analysis of the specific absorption rate (SAR) values for a cell phone with a clam shell form factor has been described. Different antenna locations and types have been analyzed. For all configuration and f

Non-ferrous, resistive probes have been developed to non-invasively measure currents induced in the human body. Each probe has a non-ferrous toroid, a highresistance coil evenly wound on the toroid, and an electrostatic shield. Eliminating the ferrou

In this paper, the optimal radiation pattern of an adaptive linear array is derived by phase-amplitude perturbations using a genetic algorithm. An antenna array is often used as an adaptive antenna. An optimal radiation pattern design for an adaptive

The SAR patterns were determined for four commercially available microwave (915 MHz) interstitial applicators. Values of SAR were determined using a miniature (3 mm diameter) implantable isotropic electric field probe or a custom 0.25 mm diameter flu
