This article describes a new method and approch of texture characterization. Using complex network representation of an image, classical and derived (hierarchical) measurements, we presente how to have good performance in texture classification. Imag

Texture characterization and classification remains an important issue in image processing and analysis. Much attention has been focused on methods involving spectral analysis and co-occurrence matrix, as well as more modern approaches such as those

Studies were made to compare the impact of immersion fixations with different concentrations of paraformaldehyde (10%, 6% + 0,25% glutaraldehyde, 4% and 1%) on the cellular and subcellular structure preservation. The study was performed on 3 animals.
The difficulty in taking sweat during heavy physical exercise has drawn the authors into testing a technique of sampling generally used in paediatrics. The fact that the results, which have been dealt with statistically, should coincide with the phys
