The crystal structure of the title compound, a vinylcyclobutane derivative abbreviated to VCB, has been determined at 90 K by X-ray crystallographic methods. The conformation of the vinyl group is anti. The 1 H, 13 C and 15 N NMR spectra of VCB in so
