Agenesis of the cranial bones, a rare condition usually incompatible with life, was seen in a neonate. Embryogenesis and management of the condition are discussed. The defect heals with conservative treatment.

An H-type rectourethal fistula was seen in a male child. The anus and anterior urethra were normal. The embryology and surgical management of this rare anomaly are discussed.

A neonate presented with extensive surgical emphysema of the abdominal wall and a spontaneous gastric perforation. This clinical presentation is very rare. Early diagnosis and treatment improve the clinical outcome.
