The presence of borate ions was confirmed experimentally and computationally, and B3O3(OH)52− existing in aqueous solutions was clearly solidified and its Raman vibrational band at 612 cm−1 was identified and reported for the first time.

Glutardiamidoxime can form polynuclear complexes with Cu(ii) or Ni(ii) in the form of cyclic diimino ligands under different conditions. In particular, a new reaction route for the preparation of glutarimidedioxime from glutardiamidoxime was found.
