Simulation of K+K- pair detection in ALICE setup for Pb-Pb interactions at LHC energy has been done. The possibility of meson signal selection over a combinatorial background is demonstrated using the realistic PID efficiencies of ALICE.

The global observable distributions of nucleus-nucleus collisions at high energy are studied. It is shown that these distributions are sensitive to interaction dynamics and can be used to investigate the evolution of dense nuclear matter. At the LHC
