The nonradiative decay pathways of jet-cooled para-methoxy methylcinnamate (p-MMC) and para-methoxy ethylcinnamate (p-MEC) have been investigated by picosecond pump–probe and nanosecond UV-Deep UV pump–probe spectroscopy. The possible relaxation
