The first Edition of this book was released in 2000, just before the symposium ``Thirty Years of Supersymmetry'' was held at the William I. Fine Theoretical Physics Institute (FTPI) of the University of Minnesota. Founders and trailblazers of supersy

I describe the inception and development of nonperturbative OPE-based methods in hadronic physics, such as the SVZ sum rules, inverse heavy quark mass expansion (IHQME) and so on and related topics.

This article was published in 2001 in Festschrift "At the Frontier of Particle Physics; Handbook of QCD", Ed. M. Shifman, (World Scientific, Singapore, 2001), Vol. 1, page 126. Asymptotic freedom as the basic property of QCD was discovered by Gross,

We study non-Abelian vortex strings in four-dimensional (4D) $\mathcal{N} = 2$ supersymmetric QCD with U$(N=2)$ gauge group and $N_f=4$ flavors of quark hypermultiplets. It has been recently shown that these vortices behave as critical superstrings.

I briefly summarize my personal opinions on the current status of HEP theory and comment on the so-called "non-empiric confirmation."

Quite often the zero mode dynamics on solitonic vortices are described by a non-conformal effective world-sheet sigma model (WSSM). We address the problem of solitonic string quantization in this case. As well-known, only crfitical strings with super

It was recently shown that non-Abelian vortex strings supported in a version of four-dimensional N=2 supersymmetric QCD (SQCD) become critical superstrings. In addition to four translational moduli, non-Abelian strings under consideration have six or
