The recent measurement of the modulus and phase of the ratio GΛE/GΛM, between the electric and the magnetic Λ form factors, performed by the BESIII experiment, offers the unique possibility of exploring for the first time ever the complex structur

We present the results of Phase I of an ongoing review of Monte Carlo tools relevant for low-energy hadronic cross sections. This includes a detailed comparison of Monte Carlo codes for electron-positron scattering into a muon pair, pion pair, and el

We present an analysis of the recent near threshold BESIII data for the nucleon time-like effective form factors. The damped oscillation emerging from the subtraction of the dipole formula is treated in non-perturbative-QCD, making use of the light c

In this talk we review the current experimental status of electron-positron annihilation into π+π-η as well as the theoretical models to describe the data. Application of the CVC hypothesis to get the τ- decay to π-π0η branching fraction is di

In this note we present a new parametrization of the hadronic current for the decay τ → πππvτ derived from the chiral lagrangian with explicit inclusion of resonances. We have included both scalar, vector and axial-vector resonances. For the f

For the p – air production cross-section, we use a Glauber formalism which inputs the pp inelastic cross-section from a mini-jet model embedded in a single-channel eikonal expression, that provides the needed contribution of uncorrelated processes.

The hadronic current for the τ− → π−π+π−ντ decay calculated in the framework of the Resonance Chiral Theory with an additional modification to include the σ meson is described. Implementation into the Monte Carlo generator Tauola and f

In this article we analyze the contribution from intermediate spin-0 and spin-2 resonances to the $\tau\to\nu \pi\pi\pi$ decay by means of a chiral invariant Lagrangian incorporating these mesons. In particular, we study the corresponding axial-vecto

Recent results for the total and inelastic hadronic cross-sections from LHC experiments are compared with predictions from a single channel PDF driven eikonal mini-jet model and from an empirical model. The role of soft gluon resummation in the infra
