The hyaluronic acid (HA) was isolated from bivalve mollusk Amussium pleuronectus and its antioxidant potential was evaluated. HA was separated from glycosaminoglycans mixture using ion-exchange chromatography (DEAE-cellulose). The net yield of HA was
