We report on the single Cr:ZnSe crystal laser generation in two longitudinal modes regime with intracavity monoblock Fabry-Perot interferometer and two Lyot filters for methane saturation spectroscopy at 2.36 μm.

We report on more than 2 W continuous wave single mode Cr2+:CdSe laser generation. For the first time, luminescence lifetime dependence on temperature for Cr2+:CdSe single crystal in 236-391 K range was obtained.

We report on the study of quenching and thermal lensing based on simple effective lens approximation in a Cr2+:CdSe active medium, including detailed research on the medium’s luminescence lifetime dependence on temperature in the 236–391 K range.
