Indigenous cinnamon (Cinnamomum osmophloeum) is an endemic tree in Taiwan. The leaf essential oil is rich in trans-cinnamaldehyde, and its excellent antifungal activity has been reported. Since trans-cinnamaldehyde is a volatile compound, it is here
