In the present study the coatings of the Fe-Mn-Si-V-C system, deposited using surfacing by flux-cored arc welding (FCAW) were investigated. Thermodynamic study of the Fe-Mn-Si-V-C alloying system were carried out using CALPHAD approach. Microstructur
