Stable crystalline phosphorus ylides were obtained in excellent yields from the 1:1:1 addition reactions between triphenylphosphine and dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates, in the presence of NH-heterocyclic compound, such as 6-chloro-2-benzoxazolethiol.
