We study the role of galaxy clusters in the mass-metallicity relation by using a sample of galaxies belonging to the AC114 (z=0.317) galaxy cluster. The data was taken from archival VIMOS-MOS spectroscopy to estimate gas-phase metallicities by using

Outflows in the Active Galactic Nucleus (AGN) are considered to play a key role in the host galaxy evolution through transfer of a large amount of energy. A Narrow Line Region (NLR) in the AGN is composed of ionized gas extending from pc-scales to kp

After the second data release of Gaia, the number of new globular cluster candidates has increased importantly. However, most of them need to be properly characterised, both spectroscopically and photometrically, by means of radial velocities, metall

We investigate the mass-metallicity relation for galaxies in the Abell cluster AC114 from 7 hours of VIMOS/MR data collected at the ESO-VLT telescope in 2009. The dynamical analysis completed in our previous paper allowed us to select cluster members

Globular clusters (GCs) are excellent tracers of the formation and early evolution of the Milky Way. The bulge GCs (BGCs) are particularly important because they can reveal vital information about the oldest, in-situ component of the Milky Way. We ai

Silkworms have been farmed for their silk since ancient times. After silk reeling, their chrysalides are consumed as food in several Asian countries. Despite the long rearing tradition of this insect, few studies have investigated the silkworm’s mi
