In this paper, a three-dimensional viscous inverse design method is presented. The blade geometry is parameterized by aerodynamic variables such as blade loading, which allows direct control of the aerodynamic flow field. With a specified stacking ax

In this paper the development of the new adaptive solver QUADFLOW is described. It is based on an integral concept and consists of a flow solver, a grid generation tool using parametric mapping based on B-splines, and local grid adaptation based on m

This paper investigates the benefits of local preconditioning for the compressible Euler equations to predict nearly incompressible fluid flow. The AUSMDV(P) upwind method by Edwards and Liou is employed to maintain the spatial accuracy of the method
