In the mononuclear zinc title complex, [ZnCl(2)(C(26)H(26)N(4))], the Zn(II) ion is surrounded by three N atoms from a (1R*,2S*)-N(1)-benzyl-2-phenyl-1-(pyridin-2-yl)-N(2)-(pyridin-2-ylmeth-yl)ethane-1,2-diamine (BPPPEN) ligand and two terminal chlor
