We present here the studies on the effect of annealing on the structural and magnetic properties of V1−xZrx (x = 0.33 and 0.40) superconducting alloys. We show that the γ-ZrV2 phase grows at the expense of (α-Zr)-(γ-ZrV2) eutectic microstructure

The V-Ti alloys are promising materials as alternate to the commercial Nb-based superconductors for high current-high magnetic field applications. However, the critical current density ( J c) of these alloys are somewhat low due to their low grain-bo

Cement is an important component of concrete used as a shielding material in nuclear accelerators and reactors. Hence cement samples should be analysed for the presence of certain trace elements that may get activated by neutrons emitted during the p
