The 46Ca(α, p)49Sc and 48Ca(α, p)51Sc reactions have been studied at a bombarding energy of 25 MeV. The data are compared with the results of DWBA calculations using simple shell-model form factors — the overall agreement is, however, quite poor.

First, second, and third moments of gamma-ray multiplicity distributions from deeply inelastic collisions have been measured for the system $^{86}\mathrm{Kr}$ on $^{144}\mathrm{Sm}$ at 490-MeV Kr energy. The average gamma-ray multiplicities are \ensu

The formalism applying to γ-multiplicity experiments is generalized to a system of detectors of not necessarily equal effeciencies. The thus extended formalism allows in a straightforward way an approximate inclusion of angular correlation effects.

Gamma-ray multiplicity moments have been measured for reactions induced in the collision systems 86 Kr + 144 Sm and 86 Kr + 154 Sm at 490 MeV lab bombarding energy. Differential cross sections for reaction products from Fe to In were also measured. A
