[Ni(dddt)2]3(BF4) 2 (I) was obtained as a crystalline solid by the electrochemical oxidation of the neutral complex, Ni(dddt) 2 [3-5] in nitrobenzene solution on a platinum anode applying a constant current of 5 ~A/cm 2 at 50 C. Et4NBF 4 was used as
