The chill mould with spray cooling system, which allows to receive the slugs of silumins ЛК9, ЛК12 and AK18 with high-dispersed microstructure without application of modifiers, is developed.

Increase of cooling efficiency of casts of silumins at casting by quenching hardening allows to receive casts with inverted, nanostructural eutectic silicon of size 0,20-0,25 mkm, which by durability exceed bronze ones 34-40 times as much.

The way of modification of the electric silumins without application of modifying fluxing agents and ligatures has been developed. The method is based on founding with the extended speed of crystallization.
