Temperature dependence of hyperfine fields for 111Cd in (Y 1−xUx)Mn 2 alloys have been studied by perturbed angular correlation spectroscopy. Single phase alloys having C-15 cubic structure synthesized for x < 0.1 show contraction of the unit cell.
