New data for elastic and inelastic ${\mathrm{\ensuremath{\pi}}}^{+}$ and ${\mathrm{\ensuremath{\pi}}}^{\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}}$ scattering by $^{208}\mathrm{Pb}$ at 180 MeV are presented. The elastic scattering data were analyzed with a standard Kis

Inelastic ${\mathrm{\ensuremath{\pi}}}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}$ cross-section measurements at pion incident energies of 150 and 180 MeV were made on ${6}^{\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}}$ states in $^{24,26}\mathrm{Mg}$. In particular, we have determ

Angular distributions for the elastic and inelastic scattering of 0.8 GeV protons from /sup 24/Mg and /sup 26/Mg are presented. Cross sections for protons exciting states of energy up to about 10 MeV are measured using a high resolution spectrometer.
