Bei der Acetolyse von funf reprasentativen, in Stellung 1 des Alkyl-, Cycloalkyl- bzw. Aralkyl-Restes deuterierten Sulfonaten wurde ein kinetischer Isotopen-Effekt kH/kD = 1,12–1,19 pro Deuterium-Atom festgestellt.

The kinetic isotope effects on the solvolysis of a series of 1-methyl-d 3 compounds was determined. A linear correspondence between α-methylsubstituent effects and methyl-d 3 isotope effects is presented and discussed.
