Photolysis of [Rh(NH3)5NO2](NO3)2 aqueous solutions is studied using 15N NMR spectroscopy. It is established that irradiation at room temperature leads to the exchange of nitrite ligand 15NO 2 − by 14NO 2 − in the complex with a measurable rate.
