Multiple irradiation of rats with microwaves of continuous generation (2450 MHz, 1 mW/cm2) increased and of pulsed generation (3000 MHz, 0.1 to 2.5 mW/cm2) decreased the functional activity of the thyroid gland with no changes in the triiodothyronine

Behavioural aspects of the effect of a single microwave exposure (2450 MHz; 1 mW/cm2; 0.27 mW/g; 7 h) were studied on albino rats using the labyrinth method and registering various constituents of the motor activity on days 1 and 4 after irradiation.
