The process of apoptosis is regulated at multiple levels through phosphorylation by several different protein kinases. The protein kinase C (PKC) family of isozymes have been shown to exert both inhibitory and stimulatory influences on apoptosis. Dur

Despite considerable progress in treatment protocols, B-lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) displays a poor prognosis in about 15-20% of pediatric cases and about 60% of adult patients. In addition, life-long irreversible late effects from c

Minimally doubled fermions have been proposed as a cost-effective realization of chiral symmetry at non-zero lattice spacing. Using lattice perturbation theory at one loop, we study their renormalization properties. Specifically, we investigate the c

We present results for the nucleon electromagnetic form factors, including the momentum transfer dependence and derived quantities (charge radii and magnetic moment). The analysis is performed using O(a) improved Wilson fermions in Nf=2 QCD measured

Moments of the quark density distribution, moments of the quark helicity distribution, and the tensor charge are calculated in full QCD. Calculations of matrix elements of operators from the operator product expansion have been performed on $16^3 \ti

We present calculations of matrix elements of 4-quark operators in the pion and in the nucleon extracted from quenched Monte Carlo simulations at beta = 6.0 using Wilson fermions. These operators are relevant for higher-twist effects. We are particul
