We have developed a fiber-based laser source operating at 515 nm. The experimental setup is composed of a 1030 nm picosecond fiber laser, a Volume Bragg Grating (VBG) based compressor, and a Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) module. The 1030 nm picose

We report on a high energy and low repetition rate picosecond thulium-doped all-fibre and all-PM laser at 1979 nm delivering up to 40 µJ pulse energy at 50 kHz repetition rate with 608 ps pulses.

We report here a comparison of different pumping wavelengths for short pulse Thulium fibre amplifiers. We compare the results in terms of efficiency and required fibre length. As we operate the laser in the sub-nanosecond regime, the fibre length is

We report a core pumped thulium-doped fiber amplifier that generates 1.4 μJ pulses at 1980 nm with a repetition rate of 3.6 MHz preserving the original spectral bandwidth of the oscillator. The amplifier chain is seeded by a passively modelocked fib

We present an all-in-fiber master oscillator power amplifier Thulium laser based on a 1996 nm laser diode, gain-switched at 250 ps and 250 kHz; amplified up to 12.8 µJ energy and 42 kW peak power.

We present a high power all-in-fibre Raman laser delivering 20.6 W at 1270 nm with an efficiency of 70%. This laser can be used for medical applications like photodynamic therapy of cancer. To our knowledge, this is the highest power ever reported in

We report an actively Q-switched Ytterbium-doped all-in-fibre laser delivering 10ns pulses with high repetition rate (from 100kHz to 1MHz). The laser operation has been validated at three different wavelengths (1040, 1050 and 1064nm). The laser can d

The generation of 236 mW of second-harmonic power in a 32-cm-long periodically poled silica fiber, corresponding to an average conversion efficiency of 15.2+/-0.5%, is reported. This represents the highest normalized second-harmonic conversion and th
