The oxidovanadium(V) Schiff base complex of formula [VO(L)(EtO)(EtOH)] (where H2L = Schiff base ligand derived from 5-methoxysalicylaldehyde and phenylacetic hydrazide) was synthesized and described. Complex crystalizes in triclinic P-1 space group.
