Some heterobimetallic acyl and µ-acyl-rhodium complexes have been isolated from reactions of the phosphido-bridged complexes (OC) 4 M(µ-PPh 2 ) 2 RhH(CO)(PPh 3 ) with the phosphinoalkenes Ph 2 P(CH 2 ) n CHCH 2 where M = Cr, Mo or W and n = 1–3.
