The impacts of small niobium additions to processing, microstructure, and electrical properties in the Zr-rich lead zirconate titanate ceramics (PZT 95/5) were investigated. The influence of niobium content on dielectricresponses and the characterist

The hydrostatically induced ferroelectric(FE)-to-antiferroelectric(AFE) phase transformation for chemically prepared niobium modified PZT 95/5 ceramics was studied as a function of density and pore former type (Lucite or Avicel). Special attention wa

We have hot-pressed dense, bulk specimens of the YBa2Cu3O7-x composition to near-theoretical density. Powders made by the mixed-oxide method were pressed at 6.9 MPa (1000 psi) in Al2O3-lined SiC dies at 950°C in air or oxygen for 30 min. Relative de
