MINA53 is a JmjC domain 2-oxoglutarate-dependent oxygenase that catalyzes ribosomal hydroxylation and is a target of the oncogenic transcription factor c-MYC. Despite its anticancer target potential, no small-molecule MINA53 inhibitors are reported.
