Photoevaporation driven by hydrogen-ionizing extreme-ultraviolet (EUV) radiation profoundly shapes the lives of diverse astrophysical objects. We construct an analytical model accounting for the finite timescales of photoheating and photoionization a

While most debris disks consist of dust with little or no gas, a fraction have significant amounts of gas detected via emission lines of CO, ionized carbon, and/or atomic oxygen. Almost all such gaseous debris disks known are around A-type stars with

Deuterium fractionation in molecules is known as one of the most powerful tools to study chemical processes during star and planet formation. Among various interstellar molecules, methanol often shows very high deuterium fractionation. It is the most

Methanol (CH _3 OH) is an abundant interstellar species and is known to be an important precursor of various interstellar complex organic molecules. Among the methanol isotopologues, CH _2 DOH is one of the most abundant isotopologues and it is often

Atmospheric escape of close-in exoplanets can be driven by high energy radiation from the host star. The planetary outflows interacting with the stellar wind may generate observable transit signals that depend on the strength of the stellar wind. We

Transit observations have revealed the existence of atmospheric escape in several hot Jupiters. High energy photons from the host star heat the upper atmosphere and drive the hydrodynamic escape. The escaping atmosphere can interact with the stellar

Photoelectric effect of dust grains by UV radiation is an important process for disk heating, but as a disk evolves, the amount of dust grains decreases. Photoeaporation is a disk dispersal process, which is caused by high-energy radiation. We perfor

Ring structures are observed by (sub-)millimeter dust continuum emission in various circumstellar disks from early stages of Class 0 and I to late stage of Class II young stellar objects (YSOs). In this paper, we study one of the possible scenarios o
