A novel nonphosphorus copolymer poly((3,3′-diphenyl diacetylethylenediamino)-1,1′-ferrocene) (PDPFDE) was synthesized, with the aim of reducing the fire hazards of epoxy resin (EP), via an aza-Michael addition reaction and was well characterized.
