Hydrate dissociation data for single hydrate formers are widely available, however there is a clear gap for multicomponent systems over a wide range of pressures and in presence of inhibitor or electrolytes. This data is required to validate thermody

An experimental and modelling investigation of water content in CO2+CH4 and CO2-rich mixtures in equilibrium with hydrates or liquid water was carried out at temperatures between 233.15 and 288.15 K at pressures up to 15 MPa. Some measurements were u

Hydrate formation is a major flow assurance issue in the petroleum industry, and the knowledge of hydrate inhibitor distribution is essential for the economic gas transportation and processing operation. A number of measurements were made to determin

International audience; Natural gas is well known as the cleanest fossil fuel. However, it is estimated that more than 40% of the remaining conventional natural gas reserves are deemed to be acidic, i.e., containing significant quantities of CO 2 and

Following our previous communications on the impact of the amount of water phase on the time required at each temperature-step 1 and the limitations of visual techniques in determining hydrate dissociation points, 2 a series of tests were conducted i

A new apparatus is described for measuring phase behavior and flow properties of water and/or hydrocarbon systems from ambient conditions to pressures of 140 MPa and temperatures to 474 K. Viscosity and density measurements have been made on pentane
