PURPOSE: To investigate the effect of macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) on corneal sensitivity after laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) surgery. METHODS: New Zealand white rabbits were used in this study. A hinged corneal flap (160-micro
