I describe the IR and X-ray campaign we have undertaken to determine the nature of the faint discrete X-ray source population discovered by Chandra in the Galactic Center. These results will provide the input to the FLAMINGOS-2 Galactic Center Survey

The low mass X-ray binary and Z source GX 17+2 undergoes infrared K-band brightening episodes of at least 3.5 magnitudes. The source of these episodes is not known. Prior published K-band magnitudes and new K-band measurements acquired between 2006 a

We present an optical/near-infrared search for a counterpart to the perplexing radio transient GCRT J1745-3009, a source located ~1 degree from the Galactic Center. Motivated by some similarities to radio bursts from nearby ultracool dwarfs, and by a

We present seven eclipse timings of the low-mass X-ray binary (LMXB) EXO 0748-676 obtained with the Unconventional Stellar Aspect (USA) Experiment during 1999-2000, as well as 122 eclipse timings obtained with the Rossi X-Ray Timing Explorer (RXTE) d

This paper reports X-ray spectral observations of a relatively nearby z = 0.048 BL Lacertae (BL Lac) object 1ES1959+650, which is a potential TeV emitter. The observations include 31 short pointings made by the Unconventional Stellar Aspect (USA) Exp

We have been undertaking a monitoring project of 13 low-mass X-ray binaries (LMXBs) using FT North since early 2006. The introduction of FT South has allowed us to extend this monitoring to include 15 southern hemisphere LMXBs. With new instrumentati

We present optical spectroscopy and optical and infrared photometry of the neutron star soft X-ray transient Aql X--1 during its X-ray outburst of August 1997. By modelling the X-ray, optical, and IR light curves, we find a 3 day delay between the IR
