Abstract In the current work, rice straw nanofibers (RSNF) with the width of elementary fibrils (~ 4–5 nm) were isolated from rice straw. The isolated nanofibers were used with zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnONPs) to prepare flexible nanopaper films.
