The Atmospheric Chemistry Experiment Fourier Transform Spectrometer (ACE-FTS) is the main instrument on-board the SCISAT-1 satellite, a mission mainly supported by the Canadian Space Agency [1]. It is in Low- Earth Orbit at an altitude of 650 km with

Microvibrations onboard greenhouse gases observing satellite (GOSAT) cause scan speed variations in the TANSO Fourier transform spectrometer. The associated periodic sampling errors generate ghost features in O2 A-band spectra, where surface pressure

A method for calibrating IFTS scanning moving targets is presented. The unmodulated components of the interferograms are preserved during the process. A calibrated data cube is obtained while keeping the contrast between the targets and background.

Motion estimation is used to align the frames resulting from an imaging FTS for astronomy scanning a moving target. An off-axis correction algorithm is then applied on the resulted spectrum to correct for the non uniform off-axis distortion.

This paper presents an algorithm to align the frames obtained with a non-stationary imaging Fourier transform spectrometer (IFTS). These frames contain both relative motion and intensity variation due to the interference pattern of the IFTS called in

Motion estimation is used to align the frames resulting from a non-stationary imaging Fourier transform spectrometer. This motion correction is expected to increase the spectral resolution, or retrieve an undistorted spectrum.

We present the recent development of a compact Michelson-like interferometer for an imaging Fourier Transform Spectrometer (IFTS). The interferometer has a mass of less than 600 g and dimensions of about 60 mm x 90 mm x 100 mm. It is designed to be s
