Cadmium silicon phosphide, CdSiP2 or CSP, exhibits the highest nonlinear Figure of Merit (d2/n3) among all bulk birefringent crystals that can be pumped at wavelengths ≤ 2 microns - and the highest among all nonlinear optical (NLO) crystals at any

We report on a widely tunable, nanosecond-pulsed CdSiP2 OPO pumped by a 1.57-micron source. The OPO was angle tuned across the 2–5 micron spectrum producing over 2 mJ at 32% conversion efficiency.

We report on first demonstrations of CdSiP2-based optical parametric oscillators that are pumped by eye-safe Q-switched nanosecond laser sources operating at 1.57 μm. One device reached 40% optical conversion efficiency generating 10 mJ of energy ne

Solid State Lasers XIV: Technology and Devices.
Design and projected performance of a lightweight, 1064 nm, laser transmitter is described. A 40 mJ, diode side-pumped Nd:YAG zig-zag slab oscillator is configured to operate on either of two Nd:YAG absorption bands (795 nm or 807 nm) to provide stab

125 mJ was generated at 1.57 microns in a single beamline KTP Optical Parametric Oscillator-Amplifier with near quantum defect slope efficiency. The 1064 nm pump beam drive intensity was tailored for efficient conversion in the OPO-OPA with no condit
